Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Triage ("the Service"), operated by AshlrAI, Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is available at trytriage.ai and provides AI-powered email management tools for insurance agencies and other professional services organizations.

2. Description of Service

Triage is a SaaS platform that connects to your email accounts (Microsoft 365, Gmail) and uses AI to:

  • Automatically categorize incoming emails by type and priority
  • Generate draft responses for review and approval
  • Provide team collaboration and email assignment tools
  • Offer analytics and reporting on email activity
  • Enable email automation workflows

The Service requires you to connect your email provider via OAuth. You authorize us to access your email data as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Account Terms

  • You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • One person or legal entity may maintain no more than one organization account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.
  • Use the Service to send spam, phishing emails, or other unwanted communications.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service.
  • Use AI-generated responses without appropriate human review in regulated insurance communications.

5. Billing and Payments

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Payment processing is handled by Stripe.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected.
  • Pricing is per seat (user). Adding team members may increase your subscription cost.
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
  • We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
  • If payment fails, we will attempt to retry. Continued non-payment may result in suspension of your account.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, AI models, and documentation, is owned by AshlrAI, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose during your subscription.

You retain ownership of your data, including email content and any edits you make to AI-generated drafts.

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses AI to categorize emails and generate draft responses. Important limitations:

  • AI-generated drafts are suggestions and must be reviewed by a qualified human before being sent.
  • The AI does not provide legal, financial, or insurance advice.
  • The AI will not confirm or deny coverage, quote premiums, process claims, or make binding commitments.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and compliance of any email you send, regardless of whether it was AI-generated.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ASHLAR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or appropriate for any specific regulatory context.

10. Termination

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with 30 days' notice.
  • Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days to allow for reactivation, after which it is permanently deleted.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
